REVIEWS:

"[T]his community should feel privileged to be the first

audience to absorb this stunning mediation on honor....

Most world premieres need at least some polish as they

find themselves through the trial and error of early productions.

This one felt like it was lifted straight from Broadway's Tony shortlist."

MIAMI NEW TIMES - John Thomason

"American Hero... is just blistering. It shakes you to your core.

It is one of the best plays or movies about war that I have ever seen."

HISTORY NEWS NETWORK - Bruce Chadwick

"This play is an absolute must see. Honestly, it was one of the best plays

I’ve seen in the past decade...  Demos-Brown has a gift for dialogue that

is extremely rare.  At first, it seems like the two characters on stage have

great chemistry, but as the chemistry continues regardless of who is on

stage you begin to realize that as wonderful as this cast is, it’s the dialogue

that simply flows so well. His words create great chemistry."

NEW JERSEY STAGE - Gary Wien

"A mercilessly penetrating interrogation of how our need for heroes —

a need even among the heroes themselves – can trump the very values

of truth, honor and loyalty that they fought to preserve...

Earlier this year, we raved about the draft of this script

at a staged reading….  Anytime you enthuse about something –

as we did citing this as one of the shows we most wanted to see –

you fear you’ve oversold the promise.  There’s no fear of that here.”

FLORIDA THEATRE ON STAGE - Wm. Hirschman

"This is a playwright who crafts smart, insightful dialogue and

memorable characters in service of compelling, engagingly theatrical stories."
